In the gospel of John 10:9, Jesus said, "I am the gate (door), by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out, and find pasture." The Lord spoke this scripture to us in 2001 as we started a new work. It was the revelation of the Lord as The Door, as The Gate, into an exciting and fulfilling new life that birthed the name of the church! We have discovered, along with Christian believers everywhere, that the Lord is truly The Gate into a life filled with promise and purpose, and with hope for a better future both in this life and in the life to come! It is through a personal relationship with the Lord that we know Him as The Gate, the one who leads us into salvation, into the Spirit filled life and into a life with the promise of a better tomorrow.

Our Ministries & Outreaches
Men's Ministry
The adult men of the church and community are invited to a monthly Saturday morning men's breakfast. Held at the church one Saturday a month at 8:30am, breakfast is served and the men enjoy a short message followed by a time of discussion and prayer.
Each quarter the ladies meet to participate in a bible study that speaks directly into the lives of women in any stage.
The meetings are held on Monday evenings at 7pm and a light snack is
served. All women in the church and community are invited to our Monday
evening Ladies Meetings.
Children's Ministry
Children's
Sunday school classes are held every Sunday morning and Wednesday
evening after song service for ages 4-13. Nursery is also provided for
infants to toddlers ages 0-4.
In addition to bi-weekly Sunday school classes, the church often holds special events and outings for the children to enjoy including summer VBS, Tigers Game outings, summer camp, and ice cream trips!
Couple's Ministry
Many times a year the married and engaged couples gather for bible study series, date nights out, and special events.
Piano Lessons
Our
worship minister, John DePasquale offers piano lessons to students in
the community and piano recitals at the end of each semester. For
futher information, please see his website.

What We Believe
We believe that there is one God who has revealed Himself in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who lived a sinless life, and by His death on the cross, paid the penalty for man's sins, thereby opening the way, by our accepting His gift of salvation, to man inheriting eternal life.
We believe that the Holy Spirit has been sent by the Lord to comfort us, guide us, and strengthen us in our Christian walk. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise from the Father for all believers.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God providing authoritative teaching from God on all matters of life and is a main means of God guiding and strengthening us.
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a declaration by the believe that he has died with Christ, that his old nature is buried, and that by the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, he is risen to walk in the newness of life.
We believe that healing, miracles, and gifts of the Spirit are available to the church today for the building up and maturing of believers.
We believe that the church as the Body of Christ is to spiritually feed and equip believers for service and is the means by which the gospel is go be spread to neighborhoods, communities, cities, and nations for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
We believe that the fruit of the Spirit as well as holiness and purity in deeds and motives, are to be evidenced in every believer's life as signs of the Lord working in their lives.
We believe that everyone will appear before God to give an account of themselves and receive a just and eternal reward for their choices, decisions, and actions in life.
